Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MONKS & COMONKS & CO offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.




  1. The content of and copyright in the Site is owned by or licensed to MONKS & CO. Any use of images, logos and price information, that is not for personal use must be applied for with our prior written permission.
  2. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your use of this Site at any time.
  3. Graphics and images have been taken by MONKS & CO or the required permissions have been obtained for use. Unauthorised use of these images is copyright infringement.




  1. The Site and the goods sold through it are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to improve, alter or modify designs without prior notification. We will inform you of any changes to the advertised goods prior to dispatch of such goods. If you are unhappy with these improved, altered or modified goods you must follow the Returns Policy.
  2. Whilst we try to display goods on our Site that are held in stock, if the ordered goods are not available we will advise you of this as soon as possible. You will be given the option of ordering an alternative product or receiving a full refund.
  3. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed that we have accepted your order and received payment in full. Your order will be deemed to have been accepted when we dispatch to you the goods which form the subject matter of your order. We may at our total discretion reject your order.
  4. By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details on to couriers). We may also use your personal details to send you marketing materials including direct mail and emails. You are able to opt out of marketing materials at any time.
  5. We retain the right to refuse a transaction. You will be notified and a full refund will be issued if this happens.




  1. All prices are in British Pounds and include Value Added Tax. We reserve the right to adjust the VAT element if this changes. The cost of transporting goods ("Carriage & Insurance Costs") are as set out below at paragraph
  2. These Carriage & Insurance Costs shall be added to the price to be paid by you.




  1. All orders received Monday- Friday will normally be dispatched the same day or next working day. Orders received on Saturdays/Sundays or public holidays, will be sent the next working day. If there is a problem with your order that prevents us from dispatching it, then we will contact you within 24 working hours of the order being received by us.
  2. Deliveries are normally made within 2-5 working days of dispatch. All deliveries are sent by Royal Mail service. Please ensure that someone is available at your delivery address to accept the goods, as a signature is required. If you are not present when the delivery is attempted, you will be left a card to informing you what to do next.




  1. We offer FREE standard delivery to all UK Mainland customers. Customers can opt for Next Working Day Delivery at checkout for £7 or Saturday delivery for £10. If customers decide to return their purchased the addition delivery charges will not be refunded.




  1. You should inspect the goods when you receive them for defects or damage. If you find a defect or damage you must tell us as soon as possible before wearing the item and refer to our Returns Policy at for instructions on how to return an item.




  1. All reasonable efforts have been made to try to ensure that the information contained on the site is correct and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee this is the case and we shall not be liable for inaccuracies or for your reliance on incorrect or out of date information.
  2. Whilst we will try to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal details, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose on-line and will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence. We do not have any liability to you arising out of your use or inability to use the site. We will not be liable to you for any unforeseeable losses.




  1. All goods supplied remain our property until paid for in full.
  2. Therefore for the avoidance of doubt in the event that we agree to supply goods to you on credit and you fail to pay by the agreed payment date or in the event that your payment is countermanded or recouped by your credit/debit card provider for any reason then you must immediately return the goods to us with all tags and original packaging and tags and compensate us for any damage caused to the goods.



You can return all or some of the goods and receive a refund for those items returned, if you do so in accordance with the following procedure: -

  1. Goods must be returned in their original unworn condition, with all packaging and tags still attached within 14 days of dispatch. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items or items that have been worn and tags removed. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received with no tags, customers should notify us by email to orders@monksclothing.co.uk on the day of delivery if they wish to return the item.
  2. Returns must be sent via recorded-delivery service or a courier that will offer proof of delivery. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all goods remain the responsibility of the customer until they are received back by MONKS & CO. Please ensure that you have adequate insurance in place. Please wrap the package safely and securely.
  3. Goods which are sent back after 14 days may receive a gift voucher.
  4. In the case of goods that are faulty you retain your Statutory Consumer rights as afforded to you under UK law at the point of sale. If you feel the goods are faulty then we require you to follow the procedure for returning goods as above stated.
  5. Where you say the goods are faulty we will not accept as faults, fair wear and tear to the goods or where they have been handled negligently by you or damaged after delivery.
  6. Leather soled shoes that have worn down are classed as wear and tear. We highly recommend having a rubber soles by a professional cobbler on your leather soles.
  7. We are unable to accept faulty product returns over six months from the purchase date.
  8. Delivery costs are not refundable unless the goods are found to be faulty when dispatched from MONKS & CO.
  9. We reserve the right to refuse returns if our returns policy is not followed.



  1. All packaging and tags must be in tact
  2.  Items must be unworn and unwashed
  3. Any items that are damaged, marked or scented in any way (e.g. smoke / aftershave) cannot be accepted and will be returned to the buyer
  4. We will process your refund or exchange within 14 working days after receipt of your return.
  5. You will be refunded via the same method that you paid.
  6. We will not refund the original postage fee.
  7. We offer exchange on satisfactory returned goods if you are returning a product the same product or same priced product. For a different priced product please send back with details of the exchange you would like. We will contact you if there is a price difference.
  1. It is your responsibility to make sure you send the return using a recorded & tracked service, as we cannot refund any lost, missing or damaged parcels. It will be your responsibility to claim.
  2. Please note we are unable to refund any postage or carriage charges for returns.
